We work predominantly on-line to increase accessibility and reduce your costs. Provision of services online also reduces travel costs and allows the delivery of services that better address a client’s needs. On-line services are as effective as other delivery methods.
Why we do it:
- To avoid the waste of time and money associated with travel, be it across town or across the country, which can be significant for those in diverse or isolated locations.
- To allow us to work with people wherever they may be located.
- To enable a larger range of service delivery types, for example: brief messages, live interactive training, on-demand video meetings, video reviews of critical behaviours, and to allow staff to engage in independent online training.
- Research into online education, medical consultation and therapy shows that online services are as effective as traditional approaches.
How does it work:
- After initial contact and some discussion of what services might be needed we then discuss what online tools will best help provide those services.
- While most people are already very familiar with these online tools, where that is not the case we support clients to become familiar with these tools.
- Privacy and confidentiality are critical, as a result we only use tools and services where this is assured, typically with GDPR compliance.
